Film Synopsis

Esther is an aspiring writer who is trying, in vain, to get her first novel published.  A Parisian 30-something, she is about to get married to David, a doctor who cannot help flirting with younger women.  Unaware that David has started to have an affair with her best friend, Maya, Esther begins to have second thoughts about the marriage.  On the advice of her friend, she consults a fortune teller who reveals that she will soon meet a new lover.  Sure enough, not long afterwards Esther runs into her childhood friend Adam and immediately falls in love with him.  It helps that he works for a publishing house...
