Film Synopsis
Inspector Sergil has some difficult questions to answer from his superiors when the man under his protection, the dictator of San Juanita, is attacked by an unknown assailant during a train journey from Paris to Marseille. Things become even sticker for the redoubtable inspector when, not long afterwards, the same dictator goes missing. Proving the old adage that problems, when they come, always arrive in threes, Sergil's fiancée is then kidnapped by a gang of terrorists, taking her as a hostage to be released in exchange for the missing dictator. The inspector throws himself into his latest mystery with his customary perspicacity and élan, and it isn't long before he realises that the dictator staged his own disappearance because he could no longer stand the pressures of his job...© James Travers
