Film Synopsis
Cecil Fox has a personal fortune that makes him the envy of everyone who knows him. Whilst watching a performance of Ben Jonson's famous play Volpone, he comes up with an idea to help him discover who his real friends are. Assisted by his secretary William McFly, he invites his three former mistresses to his sumptuous residence in Venice, pretending as he does so that he is at death's door. These consist of: the actress Merle McGill, the princess Dominique and Texan millionaire Mrs Sheridan. As he anticipated, Cecil's three former lovers waste no time coming to his deathbed, each equally determined to get their hands on his fortune...© James Travers
