Film Synopsis
In 1947, shortly after India has won its independence from the British, Steve Gibbs, an unscrupulous American gunrunner, arrives in the province of Ghandahar. He intends to sell arms to a local prince who is determined to fend off an attack from rebel fighters. He makes an enemy in the Maharajah's prime minister, a staunch follower of Gandhi's doctrine of non-violence, and falls in love with Joan, the blind daughter of a pastor.© James Travers
