Film Synopsis
It has been five years since Jean-Pierre and Nathalie first met, and they
have been together ever since, devotedly attached to one another like two
over-amorous turtle doves. To mark this important anniversary, the
first big milestone in their relationship, Jean-Pierre presents his beloved
with a very special gift, in the form of a British bulldog. Nathalie
is delighted with her new pet and, gushing with affection for the cute little
canine, christens him Trésor. It isn't long before the dog has
marked out his territory and shown his owners who is master in his new home.
The couple's bedroom becomes the dog's own private dominion, and woe betide
anyone who tries to expel him from it. Now, for a loving couple who
have need of this room, this is somewhat unfortunate. Trésor's
intimidating presence is one thing. His snoring, slobbering and other
disgusting habits is another thing altogether. But whereas the dog's
failings are all too apparent to Jean-Pierre, Nathalie is so devoted to him
that she sees nothing wrong in his behaviour. Inevitably, the dog comes
between his mistress and her partner, and if Nathalie ever has to choose
between them it is Jean-Pierre she will be saying goodbye to...
