Anthony Quinn was a Mexican-American actor whose birth name was Antonio Rodolfo Quinn Oaxaca. He was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico on 21st April 1915 and died in Boston, Massachusetts, USA on 3rd June 2001, aged 86.

His best films as an actor include Federico Fellini's La Strada (1954), Victor Saville's The Long Wait (1954), J. Lee Thompson's The Guns of Navarone (1961), David Lean's Lawrence of Arabia (1962) and Moustapha Akkad's The Message (1976).
