Christopher Eccleston is an English actor. He was born in Langworthy, Salford, England on 16th February 1964.

His best films as an actor include Danny Boyle's comedy-thriller Shallow Grave (1994), Michael Winterbottom's Jude (1996), Boaz Yakin's A Price Above Rubies (1998) and Alejandro Amenábar's thriller The Others (2001).
