Film Synopsis

In the early 1960s, London is in the grip of the Kray twins, the kings of criminal empire that is unrivalled in England.  Reggie and Ronnie may look alike but they could not be more different in temperament.  Reggie is the level-headed one.  Although he is tough with other hoodlums, he is gentle with his beloved Frances.  Ronnie, by contrast, is a ticking time bomb, a paranoid schizophrenic who cannot control his violent outbursts.  Despite Ronnie's condition, the twins make a success of their criminal activities, and things look up when another gangster boss, Leslie Payne, offers to help expand their empire into the West End of London.  Unfortunately, Ronnie's unpredictable nature jeopardises the entire venture.  The Krays' luck is about to run out...
