Jean-Pierre Bacri is a French actor and screenwriter. He was born in Castiglione, Algeria on 24th May 1951.

His best films as an actor include Diane Kurys's Coup de foudre (1983), Agnès Jaoui's Le Goût des autres (2000), Claude Berri's Une femme de ménage (2002), Parlez-moi de la pluie (2008) and Nassim Amaouche's Adieu Gary (2009), and whose best work as a screenwriter include Cédric Klapisch's comedy Un air de famille (1996), Alain Resnais's On connaît la chanson (1997) and Le Goût des autres (2000).
