Martine Carol was a French actress whose birth name was Marie-Louise Jeanne Nicolle Mourer. She was born in Saint-Mandé, Val-de-Marne, Île-de-France, France on 16th May 1920 and died in Monte Carlo, Monaco on 6th February 1967, aged 46.

Her best films as an actor include Christian-Jaque's Madame du Barry (1954), Max Ophüls's Lola Montès (1955), Nana (1955), Alberto Cavalcanti's comedy La Prima notte (1959) and Robert Aldrich's Ten Seconds to Hell (1959).
