Film Synopsis

Twenty-three year-old Ilan Halimi could have had no idea that he was being lured into a trap when a pretty young woman entered his telephone shop on the Boulevard Voltaire and called him the following day to arrange a meeting.  But on Friday, 20th January 2006 Ilan was singled out by a gang of barbarians for a cruel and tragic fate, simply because he was a Jew.  After his abduction, he was imprisoned and tortured for three weeks before being left for dead in a wood by his tormentors.  For 24 hours before Ilan's death his parents were subjected to a barrage of threats and ransom demands from his abductors - 24 hours of unmitigated Hell, with the police powerless to lend any support to the victims...
