Having turned fifty, Louis Gravet makes up his mind to become a comic
actor. As luck would have it, his brother Pierre is a filmmaker,
and Louis is delighted when he casts him in the lead role in his next
film. Unfortunately, a series of personal crises involving their
wives and children prevent the brothers from making the film they had
intended. Instead, they end up making a very different kind of
film...
