Film Synopsis

At 43, Hélène realises that she has devoted too much of her life to her career and that it is time she started living for herself.  Desperate to become a mother, she travels to Argentina, looking for a child she can adopt.  This is how she comes to discover the Argentine Northwest, a region endowed with an astonishing raw beauty but where social injustice is endemic.  As she explores the area and makes unlikely friendships, Hélène begins to find the answers to some of the questions that have been troubling her for so long...
