Film Synopsis

New York, 1920.  Two Italians, shoemaker Nicolas Sacco and anarchist fishmonger Bartolomeo Vanzetti, are arrested and charged with the murder of two men during a hold-up.  Their lawyer, Fred Moore, is able to prove their innocence, but the prosecutor and the judge concoct a challenge that is based on racism and anti-Bolshevik paranoia.  The jury finds the two men guilty and they are sentenced to death.
