Raoul's dreams of becoming the next boxing champion in his class come to
nothing when he injures his hand for the sake of a foolish bet. His
career over, he joins a troupe of women wrestlers at a fairground.
This is how he comes to meet Rosy, a well-built woman who turns out to be
a formidable opponent in the wrestling ring. Instantly attracted towards
one another, Raoul and Rosy are soon pursuing a passionate love affair.
But as Rosy's career takes off Raoul's comes to a complete standstill.
The bitterness of failure soon begins to take its toll on the couple's relationship...
