Tous les rêves du monde (2017)
Directed by Laurence Ferreira Barbosa

Drama

Film Synopsis

Pamela is eighteen and, like most girls of her age, she is finding it hard to make the transition from childhood to adulthood.  She has failed her end of school exams and is now under pressure from her immigrant parents to sort herself out.  It doesn't help that the girl feels isolated and culturally divided, torn between her present home in France and her parents' country of origin, Portugal.

Unsure of her own identity and lacking any clear direction in her life, Pamela finds herself in a terrible quandary.  Her only two passions in life are piano playing and ice skating - but she can hardly hope to make a career in these pursuits.   This summer, she meets up with her childhood friend Claudia and, through this encounter, she finally begins to emerge from the haze of adolescent confusion and make some sense of her life...
