Mandelbrot Mutants

The classic Mandelbrot Set images can be obtained by following a simple algorithm which can easily be programmed in your computer. If this algorithm is perturbed slightly, deformed images can be obtained, which we term 'Mandelbrot Mutants'. The below are some of the bizarre images that can be produced in this way.
