Directed by Marc Fitoussi

Comedy / Thriller / Romance

Film Synopsis

At forty, Pauline is satisfied, both with her private life and with her job as a layout artist on a magazine devoted to sensational crime reports.  But when her boyfriends walks out on her just before they are about to head off on their summer holidays her whole world suddenly comes crashing down.  To take her mind off this latest personal calamity, Pauline's sister invites her to accompany her and her husband on a trip to the Italian Riviera, where they intend staying at a luxurious palace.

It is just the change of scene that Pauline needs to take stock of her life, but it isn't long before she becomes bored by the long empty days in the sun.  On hearing that a crime has just been committed in the palace, Pauline's Miss Marple instincts are suddenly aroused.  The role of the amateur detective is not one that she can resist and so without further reflection Pauline throws herself into her first criminal investigation, assisted by a good-looking lifeguard.  It will turn out to be quite an adventure...
